Audience cheers ‘Oprah for President’ during her SuperSoul event at UCLA

She did not, however, give away free tuition money to all audience members

Oprah and Usher were both present on UCLA’s campus today in Royce Hall for an event hosted by Oprah called SuperSoul Sessions.

Needless to say, everyone was very excited that both of the one-named stars were gracing the grounds of UCLA and took to Twitter to express it:

The event was dubbed “a day of thought-leaders, change- makers, and wisdom-teachers”. Oprah hosted a variety of notable guests including”Hunger Games” actress Amandla Stenberg, Cheryl Strayed (author of “Wild”) and Kerry Washington of ABC’s “Scandal”.

Super Soul Sessions at Royce Hall is an annual occurrence, with tickets ranging for $95-$250 dollars. Well worth the price of seeing so many familiar faces. And if you can’t afford it, you can lament with rest of UCLA’s students in class.
