UCSC student passes away after hit-and-run on Halloween

The victim of a hit-and-run incident on October 30th, 20-year-old Alexandria Arceneaux, tragically died on Saturday.

Arceneaux, a UCSC student, was hospitalized since she was hit by a car on Highway 1 at 1:55 AM. The incident took place between River Street and Mission Street, as she was walking home with friends from a Halloween party on River street.

According to Fox, police are still looking for the driver of the silver 2010-2012 Honda CRV that hit Arceneaux and fled the scene without stopping. The car may have damage to its passenger side front bumper, and local auto repair shops are encouraged to report vehicles with suspicious damage that match the description above.
