The University of Tennessee is the best place to be a student

It’s good to be a Vol for life

College is full of tough decisions, but committing to UT is the best one you’ll make. It’s a time for learning, making friends and desperately trying not to gain the Freshman 15. It is a time to leave high school behind and focus on the future, even if you are not exactly ready for that yet.

The good news is UT can help you figure out all of that and more — the nearly 30,000 students who are enrolled right now can’t be wrong.

Here are some reasons why we love UT and why high school seniors should commit to us:

We have spirit

Sure, a lot of schools have great football programs, but I guarantee you will not find fans as passionate as Vols fans anywhere else. Neyland Stadium seats 102,455 and the games have sold out multiple times these past two years.

We may not always win, but we are always the most spirited.

We are celebrity approved

We will always get a shout out from legendary football star Peyton Manning, but we are also pretty popular with Li’l John.

Even he could not deny the charm that is “Third Down for What?”.

There is always time for fun

Everyone knows that you cannot just study all day long and UT knows that too. UT always has something going on, whether that is a play at the Clarence Brown Theatre or a magic show in the Cox Auditorium.

Plus, the always-popular Volapalooza is returning to World’s Fair Park this year on the last day of classes, so you can guarantee there will be tons of fun to be had.

UT students always win in the classroom

UT has been pushing really hard to become a top 25 school, and it looks like they are well on their way to achieving this goal.

In 2014, the average GPS of incoming freshman was a 3.79 and in 2015, it was a 3.89.

Basically, I think the only place to go is up.

Yeah, there is a lot of construction, but that just means new stuff is on the way

UT is also working to make the campus look even better every single day.

The first phase of the Student Union was completed this past summer, and two new residence halls will be opening up later this year.

The times may be changing, but they are looking so good.

There is always ‘Rocky Top’

There is no way you can come to campus and avoid hearing the sweet melodies of our favorite fight song.

You may not know all of the words, but you know that UT will always be your home sweet home.

So, graduating seniors know you will always have UT in your hearts and future freshmen we are ready to have you join our very spirited campus. We know you won’t regret it.

Go Vols!
