Here’s how many hours Temple students spend studying for finals

Get ready to reserve your seat at the Tech Center

Break out the coffee and Red Bull, because it’s that time of year again: finals week. Temperatures are high and motivation is low as the school year begins to wind down. The last thing most students want to do now is take a final.

A figure determined by a Tab survey of over 3,000 students who self-reported their study habits from last semester and predicted them for this one helped estimate how many hours we spend studying compared to other colleges.

Despite it feeling like you’ve been in the Tech Center for centuries, Syracuse, Princeton and Tulane, on average, study about 12.6 hours more than Temple students.

Temple student study hours fall just about in the middle of almost 60 other universities who participated in the study. We study about five hours more than WVU and Washington University.

Most importantly though, we study for about an hour more than Penn State students. Good luck Owls and happy finals week!
