Five-time Olympic medalist Simone Biles is coming to Philadelphia

At only 19, she’s coming to promote her new book about her journey to Olympic gold

Simone Biles, the five-time Olympic medalist will be promoting her new book “Courage to Soar: A Body in Motion, A Life in Balance”, at the Free Library of Philadelphia on Friday, January 6th at 7:30 p.m.

Simone is a member of the iconic U.S. female gymnastics team ‘Final Five’ from the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro for shattering records with her flawless routines and winning four gold and one bronze medal.

As a three-time world all-around champion, three-time world floor champion, and a two-time world balance beam champion, and other titles—she’s one of the most decorated gymnasts in history at the young age of 19.

In her new book, she recounts the obstacles she faced from the start of her early childhood in foster care to Olympic victory in Brazil.

According to the library’s website, the event will be free for attendees and no registration is required. Simone is scheduled to discuss her book with Tracey Matisak and autograph books only purchased from the library as well.

Unfortunately, for the fans who wish to take posed photos with Simone, there will not be any time for posed photos.

According to the event, attendees are highly encouraged to take selfies with Simone instead such as the one she famously took with Zac Efron when she returned home from the Olympics.
