Girl stable after reported ‘drowning’ at Women’s Building pool

A girl was seen taken out in oxygen mask

Earlier tonight there were reports of a drowning at the Women’s Building pool, a pool that is generally closed except for practices and classes. At around 8pm, two DPS cars and an ambulance pulled up to the scene.

Photos of a stretcher being brought into the building have since surfaced on social media.

According to 911 the individual was conscious and breathing.

The pool schedule showed there was scuba class going on from 5:30pm-8:15pm tonight.

Witnesses from the scuba class said the studentĀ appears to be stable and conscious. She was taken away in an ambulance for precaution. The scuba class ended early due to the event that occurred at 7:30pm. Today was the first meeting of the class.
