BREAKING: The Dean of Whitman has been arrested

Whitman Dean, Kenneth Kavaejcz has been charged with a misdemeanor

A few days ago,  Kenneth Kavajecz, Dean of Whitman School of Management was placed on administrated leave. The details of his leave were released today,  according to Onondaga County’s Sheriff, Kavajecz is being charged with a misdemeanor for Patronizing a Person for Prostitution in the third degree. The act was committed in the town of Salina. Arrested on Tuesday, Kavajecz is undergoing a criminal investigation and will be appearing in Salina Town Court on September 29th.

Kavajecz will no longer serve as the dean of Whitman School of Management, according to Vice Chancellor and Provost Michele Wheatly. Vice Chancellor J.Michael Haynie will provide leadership for now. Today, Friday Sept 16th, Provost Wheatly and Vice Chancellor Haynie will meet to discussing the future leadership of Whitman.
