We have one of the most beautiful campuses in America

It’s official

We already knew it, but now it’s official. Stanford has been selected as one of the most beautiful colleges in America by Condé Nast Traveler.

They listed us as one of the top 20 most impressive campuses, along with Princeton, Yale, and UCLA.

The ranking called out our Spanish-colonial buildings, incredible Quad, and famous Memorial Church.

They also mentioned our mix of historical and contemporary buildings scattered among palm and Douglas firs, where students can be spotted lounging under on a sunny afternoon.

The Hoover Tower—a 285-foot minimalist bell tower, is one of Stanford’s most recognizable features. The tower is often used as an orienting beacon for students and visitors who visit the sprawling campus. And don’t forget the Clock Tower located at the Circle of Death.

“To achieve ‘higher learning’ requires a bit of inspiration,” they said. We couldn’t agree more.
