The Cooper Dining Hall bus stop will stop existing next week

Why RU why?

Starting this semester, the Cooper Dining Hall bus stop will not be in use according to this sign posted by Rutgers. Students will have to resort by using the Red Oak Lane bus stop.

Rutgers Department and Transportation Services replaced Cabaret Theater bus stop with this last fall. Rutgers hasn’t updated their site explaining why they chose to get rid of this stop or Cabaret.

“That bus stop is like a portal to my classes at College Hall or if I want to go to the student center… instead [I’m] having to go all the way to Red Oak Lane then walk up the hill and so on,” said 20-year-old, junior, Kiya Washington.

Olivia Clifford, 20-year-old sophomore said, “I live in Jameson. It makes my travel unnecessarily longer. And along with that, Red Oak Lane has terrible lighting and it is so dark at nighttime there and since I sometimes get back to my dorm late at night, I’m going to have to be extra cautious.”
