Every year, hundreds of fresh new faces grace The Street with their presence and vie for the bicker spots they’ve spent three semesters patiently awaiting.
But even though most of the bickerees are brand new, and even though there’s a first-time batch of juniors crafting their endorsement speeches, 90 percent of discussions comments inevitably prove to be recycled cliches that could have been ad libbed with exact quotes from their predecessors.
No matter who’s speaking or who the bickeree in question is, you can pretty much bank on hearing at least a couple of some key bicker buzzwords and generic phrases.
