Police speculate that drugs and alcohol were involved in the incident, but no evidence has come out to prove that theory true. Delp suffered a torn aorta, broken bones and is on a ventilator at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, according to CBS.

Delp concluded his high school career with a dual and tournament record of 86-30 with 36 falls. More information on his wrestling career is available here.
