Dear world, you underestimated us

Penn State: The Greatest Comeback of All Time – playing soon in theaters near you

Four years ago, Penn State football was considered a joke. No one believed in the team. No one believed in the program. It was officially declared as dead. But on October 22 of this year that all changed. The Nittany Lions defied all odds after beating Ohio State and winning every single game after that. But no, they weren’t done.

You thought they were gonna let the Badgers run the show after that first half? Think again. They kept the momentum going, they kept the Penn State spirit alive and they did the unbelievable: they beat Wisconsin. This year alone, they turned the entire program around and got the Big Ten Championship award they deserved. The team has gone through hell and back but this time they’re not going anywhere. Now, the whole world knows once and for all that Penn State is capable of anything. Penn State doesn’t quit. We fight to the finish. Or in this case, we slay the second half.

Something tells me that Paterno is up there smiling about the big win right now.

Of course, the victory wouldn’t be possible without their fiercely loyal fan base. Students traveled all the way to Indiana for the championship game, taking buses, cars and every transportation possible to cheer for the team they love the most. They never fail to support the Nittany Lions, no matter the distance.

And we couldn’t help remind Wisconsin why Penn State is clearly superior with some savage af yet amazingly creative signs.

That’s right, look away Badgers.

But for those of us still in State College, the only way we could celebrate was by throwing another one of our infamous riots. So, in other words, post-Ohio State game riot part two.

Stop signs were stolen, telephone poles were taken and entertainment for spectators was most definitely provided.

While not everyone is into the whole vandalizing thing (for obvious reasons), the one thing we can all come together and agree on is our undying pride for Penn State.

Naturally, students went out after to rage after the epic win because the night seriously deserved some celebration.

Moral of the story: do not underestimate Penn State. Legends never die and Penn State is nothing but legends. Shout out to our haters…look who’s laughing now. See ya at the Rose Bowl.
