Stern ranked 18th best business school in the US

We’ve got things going on

Of all the things great about Stern in general, such as its own Wi-fi, ITS, and everything else, and buildings open 24/7, it’s now been rated favorably for its MBA status too.

Forbes ranked 21 schools by their five-year MBA gain (which they breaks down the basis behind the number here) to identify America’s top 20 business schools.

Stern came 18th, beating out Indiana and Carnegie Mellon.

Stern has a five-year MBA gain of $55,900. The 2014 salary, at $164,000, in addition to outdoing the likes of Kelley and Tepper graduates, also outdoes the MBA equivalents at UCLA (Anderson), UT Austin (McCombs), UNC (Kenan-Flagler), Duke (Fuqua), and Cornell (Johnson).

As if a net gain of over $50,000 isn’t encouraging enough, there are opportunities to earn money while in school. For example, “Stern encourages entrepreneurship through three venture competitions that offer a combined $200,000 in prize money”.
