Notre Dame ranked #19 smartest school in America

Just to add to our incredibly beautiful campus, we’re also kinda smart

According to a list released by Business Insider, Notre Dame ranked #19 in a list of the top 50 smartest colleges in America, based on average test scores of admitted students. The Irish weighed in with an average SAT score of 1450.

Business Insider credited us for our highly ranked business and law schools, as well as our noteworthy alumni including former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice and Hall of Fame football player Joe Montana.

We were ranked ahead of some noteworthy names including Brown, Georgetown, and Johns Hopkins, to name just a few.  More importantly, we swept the floor with University of Michigan and USC, and it’s worth noting that Texas, Michigan State, NC State, didn’t even make the list. At least we can beat them at something…(too soon?).

When you attend prestigious university like Notre Dame, it’s nice to be able to have some stats to back up your arguments to your state school attending friends who question your sanity for going to school in the middle of Indiana. So congrats Irish, here’s to having proof for something you already knew: we’re all really smart.
