Mizzou fraternity Kappa Alpha has been suspended
It’s reportedly due to a ‘hazing incident’
Mizzou’s Kappa Alpha fraternity has been suspended today after reports of a “hazing incident”.
The “hazing incident” allegedly took place last week at the Kappa Alpha fraternity house at the University of Missouri, according the The St. Louis Post-Dispatch.
The suspension means that members of Kappa Alpha are banned from participating in the university’s homecoming events occurring in late October.
This action will not affect the students’ academics.
Talking about the incident, Junior Fairbanks, a junior at Mizzou said:“It’s unfortunate for the other Greek organizations paired with them for homecoming.”
The Tab approached members of Kappa Alpha about the incident, but they responded with “no comment”.
