Missing student found dead in his car
The 26-year-old was found dead in his car on Tuesday.
The search is over for fourth-year computer science student Eric Kammerer, who was reported missing by his roommates on January 16th. On Tuesday, Kammerer’s body was found inside his car, parked off of Ellsworth road, according to a press release by the Ann Arbor Police Department.
Kammerer had a history of depression and had access to a firearm at the time of his disappearance. Police say that while the cause f Kammerer’s death is still under investigation, it’s not being treated as a criminal manner.
AAPD called the incident a “tragic loss” and stressed that their “thoughts and prayers are with the Kammerer family during this difficult time.”
