College of Veterinary Medicine ranks no. 1 in Big Ten

“…it’s rewarding to see that others are noticing the changes and the effects of our work.”

An MSU college is rated higher than any other college in the Big Ten. Fellow Spartans be aware, this includes Michigan and Ohio State. So congratulations Spartans, on being the best of the best!

Here are the facts, so you know it’s real. A legitimate data provider, Quacquarelli Symonds, rated Michigan State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine No. 1 in the Big Ten. Not only are we top notch in our conference, but the College was rated No. 5 in Nation as well.

This is the second year in a row that the College of Veterinary Medicine was ranked first in the Big Ten. It also moved up three places, 15 to 12, internationally.

The dean of the College of Veterinary Medicine, John Baker, spoke about the high rankings.

“We are pleased but not surprised at this recognition of our excellence in teaching, research and service. Our academic community has a long history of collaboration, talent and commitment. We support our faculty and students and provide an environment and structure that inspires the best in each member of our college. Rankings aside, we are excited about the future at the college, but it’s rewarding to see that others are noticing the changes and the effects of our work.”

All MSU colleges will continue to work hard and keep improving in their fields to achieve these statistics and rankings. Spartans Will be the best.
