Cal basketball assistant coach fired over sexual harassment allegations
The team plays Friday
Yann Hufnagel was fired Monday following an investigation into allegations of sexual harassment.
This action comes after UC Berkeley has come under fire for not handling sexual harassment cases particularly well.
Hufnagel joined Cuonzo Martin’s team two years ago. The team plays on Friday against Hawaii in the first round of the NCAA tournament as the highest seed in school history – No. 4, with a 23-10 record.
