McCaffery and team storm off the court without shaking North Dakota’s hands

Following the Hawkeye’s 84-73 win last night, Coach McCaffery led players off the court directly to the locker room when North Dakota played to the buzzer.

McCaffery claims it was “inappropriate play late in the game.” And this was how he responded:

Sure, being 11 points down it would’ve taken a miracle for North Dakota to come back with only seconds left. But it’s Christmas time and what’s wrong with having a little hope? McAffery was clearly not a fan though and he and the team stormed off the court giving no love to North Dakota and calling it a game.
