Joseph Gordon-Levitt is The Hasty Pudding’s Man of The Year

The Hasty Pudding has just named actor, director, and producer Joseph Gordon-Levitt as their Man of the Year.
The Institute announced JGL was selected not because of of his acting skills but because he’s a “visionary entrepreneur who developed a revolutionary platform for artistic content creation and distribution”.
Joseph Gordon-Levitt, who has stared in acclaimed blockbusters like Inception, and his own Don Jon will be paraded around Harvard Square on February 5th followed by a celebratory roast and presentation of the pudding pot.
Past winners of the award include Harrison Ford, Clint Eastwood, Robert De Niro, Robert Downey Jr, and most recently Chris Pratt.
Gordon-Levitt will next be seen in Oliver Stone’s Snowden set to release February 16.
This follows the announcement that Kerry Washington was named the Woman of the Year earlier this month.
