It’s week three in our very own version of March Madness- The Tab’s competition for the ultimate title as Florida State’s Best Bar. Last week 8 bars faced off and thousands of you voted. This week, we’re present to you the Final Four.
Voting for this round ends Sunday, March 12th at 5 pm.
Madison Social vs Clyde’s
A Madison Social vs Clyde’s matchup is like choosing to get rid of peanut butter or jelly on your pb&j. Madison Social has given us late night happy hour and Sunday brunch to recover, while Clyde’s has given us reason to leave the house at the beginning of the week for Mandatory Makeout Monday’s.
Last week, Madison Social went up against Bullwinkle’s and won a massive 72% of the vote. If you didn’t know, MadSo is a beloved Happy Hour, trivia, brunch and gameday spot of Florida State students. Located on Madison St, Madison Social is the perfect place to walk from the game and back on a Saturday in the fall.
Clyde’s beat out Coliseum with a decisive 62% of the vote. Known for the infamous Monday’s and Happy Hours, Clyde’s is always here for us- open every day of the week except Sunday, from 4:30 pm to 2:00 am.
Potbelly’s vs Recess
Potbelly’s and Recess is a matchup for the ages. They’re two of the most beloved bars in all of Tallahassee, and it’s a typical Friday when you start the evening off at Pot’s for Happy Hour, and move to Recess to end the night.
Potbelly’s beat out The Standard with a convincing 74% of the vote. From Purgatory to Happy Hour, Pots has engraved itself as being one of the most beloved places at Florida State. As we all saw from Fake Patrick’s Day this past weekend, you’ll get the most bang for your buck at Potbelly’s.
Recess beat Tenn with 73% of the vote. Recess has made a name for itself being the place to be not only on a Tuesday night in Tallahassee, but on Friday and Saturday’s as well. It’s located on Madison St above MadSo, and has an outdoor club and rooftop pool for when the 2 months of Florida’s winter are over.
