CU to hold election discussion this Wednesday

It will be in the Visual Arts building, room 1B20 at 7pm

After the surprising results of the election, Donald Trump will be America’s 45th President. These results were a shock to a majority of the American population.

Immediately following the results, CU students began protesting the Trump presidency.

Therefore, CU’s Center for Western Civilization, Thought and Policy will be hosting an election discussion this Wednesday, November 16th, at 7pm.

The discussion features a panel of CU students and faculty from Liberal and Conservative backgrounds. Myself, and another CU student Marilyn Alexander will be on the panel, as well as CU graduate students Spencer Case and Anthony Kelley, along with Professor Kenneth Bickers and Professor Sarah Krakoff.

Following the initial remarks of the featured panelists, the floor will open up for questions from the audience, leading to an open discussion. Hopefully this event will shed some light on what exactly happened with the election, and what’s to come in a Trump presidency.
