Bean Boots were made for walking
Fall on the Heights is a beautiful place.
Many people imagine that with colorful falling leaves comes braving the cold weather, and consequently the biggest fashion statement at BC: the LL Bean Boots.
We’ve all seen them – they are no myth. However, they aren’t as prevalent as the stereotype would suggest.
Let’s take a closer look at the fancy footwear of BC’s students as fall comes to a end.
The classic tall riding boot (arguably more worthy of stereotype-status than Bean Boots) along with a western-style mid-calf. Frye boots ftw.
Yes, Ugg-wearers still exist. Have no shame, friends. These are extremely comfortable and practical.
A whole corner of the room in one class was filled with short black boots, a popular style on campus.
Another classic: Lace-up boots.
I spy Bean Boots! Along with another tall riding boot…
Freshman Sofie Madden rocks frilly knee-high socks with tall two-toned riding boots.
Heeled booties are also popular and are very on-trend.
