Easy Halloween costumes you can find in your closet

So you don’t have to be a cat for the third time in a row – you’re welcome

Let’s face it, most of us don’t have time to prioritize a Halloween costume, unless you’re in a sorority or an avid Halloween lover. Most of us just want simple, dirt cheap costumes we can throw on the night of. This is for those of us who don’t want to break out a glue gun or have anything to do with that DIY nonsense.

These 10 costumes are free, and require no crafting materials.

Lumberjack

Literally all you need is a flannel or plaid shirt, boots, and pants of your choosing. Shorts or jeans work a treat.

Sailor

As long as you’ve got a striped top, a pair of shorts, and some red lipstick, you can do this. It’s so simple, and also super cute.

Boo

Just throw your hair up in cute buns or pigtails, grab a pink shirt and you’ve got it.

Bonus points if you also have purple leggings and those cute little hair ties.

90s Grunge

If your goal is to put in the absolute least amount of effort possible, this is perfect. All you’ll need is a cool toned lipstick, a choker, some docs, a flannel, and black jeans.

If you still have a hair crimper it’s your time to shine.

Masquerade

This is probably the easiest costume as all you really need are a pair of heels, or flats, a cute dress, and a mask. If you don’t have mask I suggest either finding one online and printing it out, drawing one on your face with makeup, or buying one from the store.

A Kardashian/Jenner

All you need are some thigh high boots and a risqué dress – channelKourtney Kardashian in my crew neck and boots. And make sure your contour is strong and your highlight is popping.

Wednesday Addams

Wednesday has always been badass, and we always wanted to be her – now you can. Just grab a black dress, braid your hair, and scowl at everyone who looks your way.

The Lady in Red

If you happen to have a lot of red in your closet this is perfect. Pair it with a red lipstick and you’re ready to go!

A character from Stranger Things

We were aiming for Barb, but seemed to channel a bit too much Nancy. I think sweaters and mom jeans will work best for this. If all else fails just go around screaming “Will!”, people will get it.

Hula/Surfer girl

If you have a tropical dress you can pair that with some flip flops and a flower crown or a lei. If not wearing a bikini top and a pair of shorts works too.
