Nobody panic, but we might be getting a Gossip Girl reunion

Blake Lively talks about it in Variety

OK, so as much as I love Gilmore Girls and Sex and the City, revivals — whether they're movies or shows or reboots — are always kind of…disappointing.

You know what would almost certainly be excellent, though? A Gossip Girl reunion. I know things kind of tied up neat and bow-like at the end of the last season (Baby Henry! Derena 5ever! Mayor Nate! Vanessa's dead — OK, that one's just a fantasy) but there are so many storylines left to explore with the original Upper East Side gang's stilettos firmly planted in adulthood.

And I'm not the only one who's been thinking about it, either. When asked about the possibility of a GG resurrection, Blake Lively, best known for playing good girl gone bad gone good gone bad gone good Serena van der Woodsen said why the hell not in an interview with Variety.

"Why not?" she said. "It sort of all depends. Would I do seven years of the show? No, because it's hard work and I've got my babies, and I don't want to be away from them that much. But I've just learned in life you never say never."

Never say never?! She basically all but confirmed that they're literally filming right now. That's what that means, right?

Just please, please tell me any potential new storylines will not include Jenny and Vanessa. Maybe their characters have — I dunno — died in a horrific boat explosion or something. Not that I've thought about it or anything.
