Caroline PhinneyAmerica’s Next Top Model, the most successful and longest-running fashion reality TV series in history, is nothing without the Infamous Tyra Banks, so it only seems fitting that she’ll be returning as host following Rita Ora’s one season.
This announcement comes just days after her announcement that she’ll be replacing Nick Cannon as the host of America’s Got Talent.
While she’d still been involved with ANTM, she’d decided to take a behind the scenes role while Ora was hosting, and acted as an executive producer instead. But apparently she missed it too much to stay away.
“I’m overwhelmed and humbled by the intensity of the ANTM fan base whose deep affection for the show led me to have a change of heart,” Banks said in a statement.
“After giving it a lot of thought, I realized that remaining behind the camera wasn’t enough because ANTM is woven into my DNA.”
And don’t worry, she and Ora are still on great terms.
In fact, they’ve entered into a full on love fest on Twitter. God I love girls.
