Hundreds of people have already sent nude Snapchats to this artist’s account, with the hopes of becoming famous

Snapchat is a medium of the moment, and that’s precisely what this 31 year old NY artist is intent on capitalizing on.

Matty Mo left his job in advertising with the intention of becoming ‘The Most Famous Artist’, and when considering how quickly his works have caught on, it’s become evident he might do just that.

On his most recent birthday, he asked snapchat users to ‘send nudes’ as a kind of joke, and the DMs started pouring in. He received over 500 nudes in the span of 24 hours.

But there were three rules:

Anyone sending pictures had to be 18-and-up, the picture should be unidentifiable, and it had to have the words “Happy Birthday #TheMostFamousArtist” somewhere on the picture.

Once he realized his request had taken on a life of its own, he began blowing up the photos and hanging them up in an NYC gallery, where they started to catch the attention of other artists and snapchat users alike.

When asked if he’s received any backlash from Snapchat, he said “my argument would be that what I’m doing is no different than Snapchat monetizing its platform for profit.

“And that’s the core commentary.”

His most recent artistic endeavor is interesting as well. He is currently “Selling his arm for $10 million post tax.”

He told Cosmo, “It’s a metaphor for the greediness of collectors and the sacrifices artists make in order to succeed. So I am fully willing to chop off my arm surgically and put it in a formaldehyde tank for a buyer.”
