If you want to reinvent yourself, this is the weekend to do it, and here’s why

This Sunday, March 12, there is going to be a Storm Moon, which means we’re all getting a chance to start fresh. And I, for one, certainly need that.

When you think about it, we don’t get many chances to reinvent ourselves throughout the year — New Years, birthdays perhaps, a new semester for those still in school —  so this is not something that should be taken lightly. With reinvention comes responsibility, but you couldn’t pick a better time.

This Storm Moon, the final full moon of winter 2017, also comes a week before the Spring Equinox. It is a symbol of new beginnings, and will reach its crest at 10:45 EST.

The Native American name for this Moon, the Worm Moon, depicts perfectly, Earth Worms rising from the soft spring soil, and beginning their journeys through life.

So here’s the chance you’ve always wanted — to be your own Earth Worm. Shed that crusty guy you started dating in November. Maybe you promised yourself on Jan 1 that you’d start working out more . . . but then kind of forgot for the past four weeks. This is your excuse to go back. Maybe things just haven’t been going your way lately? Make a change, and make it this weekend.

Perhaps, you just want to change your look? No better time than the present. You don’t have to be the same person on Monday that you are today, and you won’t be.
