Nominations for the Warwick SU Sabbatical Officers are now open

The Warwick SU Spring 2017 elections are now open. 17 posts are up for election, including Sabbatical and Part-Time Officers, as well as NUS deleguates.

The roles available are:

  • Democracy and Development Officer

  • Disabled Students’ Officer

  • Education Officer

  • Environment and Ethics Officer

  • Ethnic Minorities Officer

  • LGBTUA+ Officer

  • NUS National Conference Delegates (6 places)

  • Postgraduate Officer

  • President

  • Societies Officer

  • Sports Officer

  • Undergraduate Arts Faculty Representative

  • Undergraduate Engineering and Experimental Sciences Representative

  • Undergraduate Physics and Formal Sciences Representative

  • Undergraduate Social Sciences Faculty Representative

  • Welfare and Campaigns Officer

  • Women’s Officer

If you’re looking to stand for any of the roles, you can nominate yourself online here. Nominations close at 12:00 on Tuesday 14 February 2017.

The SU website states “There is ABSOLUTELY NO CAMPAIGNING before 9am Monday 27th February“, but all candidate manifestos outlining their pledges will be uploaded to the election webpage, and the final polls will open at 09:00 on Wednesday 1 March 2017.
