Warwick’s BNOC 2016: The winner

He got nearly 20 per cent of the votes

This year the competition for the biggest BNOC at Warwick was the toughest yet and with all your votes counted in, we have a clear winner.

Warwick’s 2016 BNOC is first year, MORSE student, Muhammad Awad.

After we told him that he got it, we asked him a few questions on his new title as BNOC.

How does it feel to win?

“I’m pretty buzzed about it to be honest, I kind of anticipated the nomination but definitely didn’t expect to win! Also special shoutout to Matilde Paisana, who kept on joking about mentioning her in my victory speech.”

What are you going to do now with your BNOC status?

“I have no idea, might buy myself a crown.”

Do you think this will impact your second year?

“Honestly I don’t think it will too much, I just think people might joke about it a bit more but they’ve been doing that since the nomination.”

How highly will you place this on your CV?

“Right at the top, next to my name in bold.”

Do you expect a change in how people will treat you now ?

“No not really, friendly people will remain friendly people.”

Our congratulations go out to Muhammad, and our commiserations to his competitors.

Until next year.
