Use your vote carefully

| UPDATED

You’ve helped us nominate the most popular guys and girls on campus, submitting nearly 300 nominations over the course of the last month.

Now is the time to vote for your favourite contestant. Here is a reminder of who was nominated and why:

Lanre Ige

Lanre Ige is a second year PPE student. When he is not busy being the president of PPE society, he enjoys playing the double bass. When asked on how he felt about being nominated he said “I’m happy because it’ll look really good on my linkedin page”. He also has 212 likes on his Facebook proflie picture.

Temi Cole

You’ve probably met Temi. Everyone’s met Temi. The law fresher’s made quite a name for herself in her first year at Warwick quickly making friends with half of the campus. You’ll probably find her in Smack on a Tuesday night and more impressively her 9am on Wednesday morning too.

George Tuvey

Philosophy fresher George Tuvey is renowned for his Rootes Toast video. He revealed that he actually hates having toast. In fact the only time he’s ever used the toaster since being in Rootes, was for the video. George currently is ‘playing the whole uni thing by ear’ and next year wants to get involved in more societies.

Clara Hopmann

Clara Hopmann is a first year International Management student. Volleyball is her life. In her spare time she enjoys chilling with her friends or just making new friends, as she thinks that “its what the uni experience is all about.” She also added that one of her favourite things about Warwick is POP as its ‘her bae’.

Muhammad Awad

Muhammad Awad is a first year MORSE student who is really into his sports. He also professes his love for eating, travelling and being around his friends. You may spot him on every night out, from Kasbah to Switch, but you may not know that he actually doesn’t drink, so he thinks thats what most people remember him for.

Maatin Adewunmi

Maatin Adewunmi is a second year Economics, Politics and International Studies student. Walking around campus with him is a nightmare, you can’t go a metre without bumping into someone who knows him. He’s an active member of ACS playing in their football team and a member of Warwick men’s hockey. In his spare time he works for Warwick Inspire.

Theodora Hoar

Theodora Hoar, an anonymous Facebook profile in charge of writing student publication ‘The Hoar’, was nominated this year. When she’s not writing for the Hoar, she likes to “hop from café to vegan café, looking for a ticket to the middle class, or a cheap return flight home to County Kerry.” She has plans on writing a book about the popular history of Kyrgyzstan, written as an English-to-Emoji parallel text.

Hiran Adhia

Third year, suited and booted, PPE student Hiran Adhia is pretty renowned for somehow maintaining a degree, keeping his sanity and being editor-in-chief of the Boar (although rumour has it he prefers the Tab) during his third year at Warwick. He was shocked to be nominated as a BNOC he never thought the Tab would bother writing an article about him.

Ghida Esber

You will spot this second year, Econ ‘Lebanese princess’, who currently lives in Abu Dhabi, literally everywhere. You might catch her in the Library with her head buried in books or with all her friends at Toast or Clink. Next year, Ghida is going to be the president of Arabic Society and the marketing officer for Warwick Finance Society. She is also known as the Kim K of Warwick.

Alp Katalan

You may know this second year PAIS student because he is the co-founder and co-president of the infamous European Society or due to the fact that he was the co-editor of Perspectives . He is known to be involved with every event possible was described as ‘someone who is always walking around with the biggest smile’. One person referred to Alp as ‘the ultimate BNOC who cannot stroll through central campus without getting stopped for an autograph’.

Shivam Haria

He’s the one on the right.

Second year MORSE student, Shivam Haria loves travelling and to date he has completed different world challenges around the globe. When he isn’t playing tennis, you will find him either in Smack or at an alternative event, but his guilty pleasure is going to POP. He is known for his positive attitude to life and his ‘wavey garms’.
