UWE the best university in the UK for social work degrees

Craig O'CallaghanUWE has been ranked as the best university in the UK for social work degrees in the latest Guardian university rankings.
Our university beat the likes of Bristol and Dundee, and scored a perfect 100 out of 100 for that course.
Overall, we ranked a disappointing 68th in the UK, though this is a dramatic improvement on last year’s 79th place.
The top ten are Cambridge, Oxford, St Andrews, Surrey, Loughborough, Durham, Imperial, Lancaster, Warwick and Bath.
UWE received a score of 56.5 out of 100 overall, while rivals Bristol finished 38th only managing a score of 65.1.
UWE scored particularly highly for the following subjects:
Architecture – 6th
Social work – 1st
