Don’t panic guys, but Nottingham’s M&S might be closing down

We were listed as being one of the most at risk

As news broke last week that Marks and Spencer are planning to downsize or close some of their stores nationwide, it has been revealed that stores in Nottingham are vulnerable.

They revealed that around 30 will close completely and 45 will be made into just food stores after the high street chain has tried to turn around falling numbers in clothes sales over the past few years.

Analysts have said it is likely that stores in town centres are most likely to be closed as stores out of town have more parking availability.

Although Nottingham was referred to on the list of stores most likely to be affected it is unclear which store in particular it could be.
