Detonate Halloween was shut down by police three hours early

The main stage had to close for health and safety issues

Detonate’s sold out Halloween event was shutdown around 8pm on Saturday, three hours early and before headline acts Kano and Wiley appeared on stage.

A popular rumour circulating amongst the crowds and on social media was that the event was shutdown because of a stabbing, however, Detonate confirmed that it was “due to a health & safety issue with one of the tents” via their Twitter page. The fence line for the main stage was damaged, which therefore forced the closing of the main arena.

Headliner Andy C tweeted that it was over capacity and Kano said that he hopes to be back soon.
