Varsity is well under way and is offering a full day of free sports events for people to attend. This year, Sussex will be playing host to the majority of the games with over 20 events from 9.30am to 6pm all around Brighton.

3:34pm: MEN’S BASKETBALL, FIRST QUARTER, SUSSEX LEADS 16 – 10

Sussex are once again showing their dominance in basketball, the team have picked themselves up well but Brighton are also promising.

3:28pm: MEN’S VOLLEYBALL, SUSSEX WINS IN THREE STRAIGHT SETS AND WINS VOLLEYBALL 

The team were extremely comfortable taking home the win, both teams gelled well. It was more mistakes on the Brighton side that let them down, well played both teams

Security have said that men’s rugby has had to be postponed due to fans invading the pitch. The lack of stewards and fencing has meant Brighton fans have stormed the pitch. The match has been cancelled until further notice

An amazing performance at the end from Sussex who could not be stopped. An emotional game with the best team winning and with it being the captain’s last game, what an amazing send off

Had a bad start, but Sussex are showing off their talent as the games go on
