Brace yourself: Oktoberfest is coming back to Brighton

O’Zapft is, get your lederhosen and dirndl ready

The Oktoberfest in Munich is the world’s largest beer-festival. For about 18 days every October, a big part of the city transforms into a giant funfair with loads of different rides, traditional Bavarian food and of course, most importantly, beer.

Let’s be honest here, that’s basically what it’s all about anyway. Accordingly, thousands of people from all over the world travel to Munich every year to get pissed and experience the unique Oktoberfest vibes in the giant beer tents.

However, while all of this sounds fun, we know that as students, always broke and living on the breadline, you might not be able to spare a few hundred pounds to travel to Germany to be part of the Oktoberfest experience. Therefore we’ve got awesome news for you: Oktoberfest is coming back to Brighton, bringing you a weekend full of Bavarian food, drinks and music.

After last year’s great success, the legendary Brighton Oktoberfest is going into its second round on Friday 13th and Saturday 14th of October 2017.

With over 3000 people who attended last year and 9000 liters of beer sold, the event is definitely going to be a blast, trying to trump the 2016 success and promising an even bigger and better Bavarian weekend with the addition of a new Saturday afternoon session, thus offering three different sessions: Friday evening 6-11pm, Saturday afternoon 12-5pm and Saturday evening 6-11pm. Also, the event offers a new venue, moving from the Brighton Racecourse to the Level and thus bringing you even closer to town with bus connections right in front of your nose.

But there is more,  the Bavarian style festival in Brighton is also offering :  a huge array of traditional German food, including Pretzels and Bratwurst in many different flavours along with vegetarian options, some of the best authentic Oompah bands from around the world and of course liters of beer along with an uncomparable Bavarian party atmosphere, as the event is taking place in a giant beer tent.

The Munich Oktoberfest taking over Brighton is something you certainly don’t want to miss out on, so grab your tickets now at Eventbrite or via http://www.oktoberfestbrighton.co.uk , get your lederhosen and dirndl ready and prepare for an unforgettable experience .
