SEF introduces HYPE for campus feedback
Students can now share their problems directly
Oliver HarrySussex Estate and Facilities (SEF) has introduced HYPE – a new website allowing students to offer ways that Sussex campus could be improved.
Feedback can regard anything from fundamental services: such as the state of the accommodation, laundry rooms, or security on site, to the amount of decorations adorning this year’s Christmas tree.
HYPE gives users the chance to like, comment on and share other people’s suggestions, with the intention of gauging the popularity of each post, in much the same way as Reddit, or Facebook.
Suggestions are formulated through “Idea Campaigns”, provided by a “senior level sponsor”, according to the website. Users can then offer ideas, solutions or simply offer their opinion on the topic raised.
Students can suggest ideas like this
Once this process has been completed, submitted ideas will be evaluated, with the best ideas given to the campaign sponsor, who will decide which ideas should be pursued.
