Sussex is the 61st best university in the country for student satisfaction – a massive tumble down the league table from last year’s 38th place.

In the Times Higher Education’s survey, students were asked to rate, among other factors, the community atmosphere, industry connections, staff, and facilities. Sussex did not score a place in the top 10 of any of these ratings.

According to this year’s figures, Bath is the place to be for the best student experience, with Loughborough and Sheffield following closely behind.

On the plus side, Sussex still tops King’s College London, which came in at 80th, and bumbling Brighton, who only managed 97th place.
