Stirling University could have a water taxi link to city centre

Direct link to Fubar would be better

Gondolas could be introduced as a new way of getting around Stirling in the coming years.

The River Forth cuts through the heart of the city and could be revitalised with a new transport system around the city, which would include a stop to connect the city to Stirling Uni.

The proposal is part of a multi million pound project to develop Stirling’s future prosperity.

If the proposals go ahead then Stirling would join the glamour of similar systems of the Thames, the Seine and the Grand Canal.

Taxis are planned to connect the city to other key areas of the city, including the Wallace Monument, Forth Valley College, Stirling Sports Village and the new Forthside development.

Time will only tell if a late night service will take students from campus to Fubar at 2am.
