The available section editor positions are:

News Editor: The news section covers current local news, that matters to students. They will keep up to date and pre-empt what is being spoken about on campus.

Fashion Editor: The fashion section covers everything style-related. Students on the street, the latest trends, any one of our five fashion shows, fashion shoots and more are within this section’s scope. 

Features Editor: This will include the guidance of experience pieces, interviews with local celebs and students, competitions and more.

Opinion Editor: The opinion section exists as a platform for students to air their thoughts on any topics, be they critical or complimentary.

Sports Editor: The sports section covers the goings-on of the Athletic Union and the St Andrews Saints, as well as providing coverage on national sporting events.

Each section editor must produce at least two article a week for their section, written by either themselves or by one of their writers. Section eds are also responsible for liaising with writers to produce stories, staying on top of section-related events and attending editorial team meetings.

We are also looking for photographers. If you’d like a free ticket in exchange for photographing an event, you can join our Events team. Send along any past examples of your work (blog, facebook album, etc) to get involved.
