Share the Sound Music Festival returning to Southampton
Because Soundclash is way too mainstream.
Harry KershFollowing its successful debut last year, Share the Sound music festival will be returning to Southampton this Spring.
Share The Sound is a live music event created for unsigned, up and coming acts looking to make their mark of the thriving live music scene in Southampton. The event will be held over the course of two days at the Talking Heads in the City Centre.
The festival will be taking place on Friday the 11th and Saturday 12th of March 2016, from 6pm-late on each night. Tickets will be available online soon, and can be found on the event’s Facebook page.
One of the event’s organisers Kitty O’Neal told the Soton Tab: “We are passionate about bringing in an eclectic mixture of new and unique acts, and this year we are showcasing an enormous variety of genres from pop and jazz to rock and rap”.
Some of the acts already announced are headliners Red Letter and Nylon Ostrich, plus Penquin and Charlie Hawkins. The event promises to be a great couple of days and will only help to develop the Southampton music scene.
