Southampton is the 9th best uni for employability in the UK

We’re in the top 70 in the world


In news that will be encouraging to many, Southampton University has been listed as the 9th best university for employability in the UK for 2015.

The list, which was conducted by the QS World University Rankings, also had Southampton listed as being ranked between 61-70 worldwide.

The high placing is no doubt a very positive display among growing difficulties for young people finding work, and sees Southampton placed ahead of a number of prestigious universities both worldwide, and nationally.

The news follows Southampton’s recent success in other league tables, including rising from 18th to 16th in the Good University Guide.

Top of the list, and 4th place worldwide was Cambridge University, who managed to get one over rivals Oxford who came in at second. Leeds, Edinburgh, Loughborough, Durham, LSE and Bath also all placed higher in the poll than Southampton.
