Tramlines announce first line-up

They’ve smashed it

Just in time to scoop you out of the lull of going back to lectures, Tramlines have announced the first part of their 2017 line up.

Including some of the biggest names to date with bands like The Libertines, Metronomy and Twin Atlantic, your year nine self should be ready to burst at the seams.

The line-up also boasts the likes of Loyle Carner and Akala, both of whom are not to be missed after preforming and delighting in Sheffield earlier this year and are TTC favourites.

Lookin’ fiiiiiiine.

Tramlines has quickly become a much bigger festival, with students coming from from far and wide to enjoy the weekend. You may have no plans to go at this point but its one of those things that will end up materialising in the summer months, don’t fight it.

Organised by a selection of local promoters, organisations and venues, Tramlines has become a figurehead not just for the city, but also for the British music scene, showing off the regions most impressive musical talents.

Even if the weather pulls a shocker, the Steel City party spirit is nigh on impossible to squash. Summer can’t come quick enough.
