Meet 2016’s King and Queen of Sheffield fashion

Take note

Last month we asked you to vote for who you thought was Sheffield’s best dressed in 2016.

Second year Architecture student, Kyri Mouzouris, and fresher Psychology student, Emma Paley both got 18 per cent of your vote. Together they shared over 300 votes.

We caught up with the winners and here is what they had to say:

Are you surprised to win?

Yeah, I didn’t think I’d have a chance, whilst I was still holding my burrito in the photo.

Do you have a favourite place to shop in Sheffield?

Mooch is a good place for some designer vintage clothing- mainly for the oversized shirts and sweats- but otherwise AllSaints is probably my go to store.

Any style advice for our readers?

My best advice would be to keep it simple. Take inspiration from the French and Japanese. Also, care less and wear what you feel comfortable in.

Are you surprised to win?

Yeah, I’m surprised to win.

Do you have a favourite place to shop in Sheffield?

There are loads of nice little vintage independent shops in Sheffield. I really like Mooch.

Any style advice for our readers?

Always be comfortable.

Stay chic Sheffield and you can be featured in best dressed in 2017.
