Oxford students pay more rent than any other uni in the UK

We pay more than London

According to new findings, Oxford students have the highest rent in the UK.

We pay £135.38 a week, well above the national average of £109. We came just above Cambridge who pay £131.48, and far higher than London who pay £105.08 per week.

The findings came from Natwest’s Student Living Index, which profiled the most cost effective cities for students in the UK.

Queens in Belfast was the lowest in the UK at just £73.81 a week, closely followed by Manchester and Cardiff.

The index also found that those at Oxford also spend the most time on academic studies in comparison to other regions.
