Heroic Oxford university staff receive medals for fight against Ebola

Doctors and academics battled to save lives


Nearly 80 members of staff were honoured with an award – presented by vice chancellor Andrew Hamilton at Exeter College on Thursday.

Ranging from doctors to academics, the staff helped in different ways to combat the West African crisis, and were given the medals on behalf of the Queen.
