Oxford slumps to 6th in prestigious world uni rankings

Beaten by Cambridge yet again

The QS world uni rankings were released today and Oxford has fallen by a place to a disappointing sixth best in the world.

The University of Oxford takes it’s place amongst other elite institutions like Harvard, the University of Cambridge. Stanford and MIT.

There’s not much they don’t think we’re good at. We rank 100 out of 100 for academic reputation and employer reputation.

Oxford is the best place in the world to study Geography. The Arts and Humanities faculty also ranks first globally. Oxford faculties rank ninth overall for Engineering and Technology, third for Life Sciences and Medicine, fifth for Natural Science and third for Social Science and Management.

No university has a better reputation with employers than Oxford.

Laughable Durham’s outrageous attempt at making “Duxbridge” happen has fallen short as they’ve placed well below at 62. Imperial and UCL both make the top ten.

Oxford is a glittering institution, renowned and envied across the globe. But finish behind Cambridge yet again still leaves a bitter taste in the mouth.
