A ‘killer clown’ chased freshers around campus last night

Just when you thought the a 9am was the scariest thing in the world

By now you have probably heard about the numerous clown sightings across the United States. Now, in the U.K., everyone seems to be seeing clowns jumping out from alleys, underpasses and bushes in a ‘killer clown’ craze.

The sightings have now spiralled into a phenomenon which has taken the internet by storm.

A phenomenon which has come to UEA.

Around 20:30 last night outside the TEC building near the University Village, someone dressed in a full clown costume was seen jumping out of bushes and chasing unsuspecting freshers as they finished a hard week of lectures and LCR nights.

Daisy, a second year History student, told The Tab Norwich: “He jumped out of the bush, as a group of girls were walking past and chased them a few meters.

“After one of them told him to fuck off he ran through a nearby bush and out of sight.”

The clown was last seen running off towards the Village after scaring a group of students walking back from the Sports park.
