The results for the National Student Survey 2015 are in, confirming once again you don’t have to go to a Russell Group uni to get your money’s worth.

UEA nabbed second place for student satisfaction, beaten only by Keele University, with overall satisfaction placing at 92 per cent.

Whether its our fave sticky haven of the LCR or our 24 hour library, UEA has once again proven its might over inferior Oxford and Cambridge, who didn’t even make the top ten.

The survey asked for evaluations in a variety of areas including teaching, academic support, library resources and industry connections.

The National Student Survey has consistently ranked UEA among the highest for student satisfaction since the survey started in 2005.

Prof David Richardson, UEA’s Vice Chancellor, said: “Scoring so highly for satisfaction is testament to the efforts of academic and support staff as well as the Student Union, and of course the students themselves in making UEA a top-class place to live and study.”

The survey also rated eight of UEA’s individual subjects the best in this year’s findings.

Among them was the Law School which ranked 1st place this year with an astounding 98% satisfaction rate.

UEA recently also ranked within the top 10 in the UK for Research Output, showing the uni’s ability to contend with other leading universities from around the world.

Basically, freshers, you’re going to have a good time.
