Manchester is the UK’s third best tourist spot

For the second year in a row

According to Hotels.com rankings, Manchester was the third most popular place for tourists in 2015.

The rain clearly hasn’t deterred the visitors, as Manchester had the third highest number of overseas tourists, beaten only by London and Edinburgh

All five cities at the top of the table in 2014 retained their spot again for a second year.

They include: London, Edinburgh, Manchester, Liverpool and Glasgow.

It’s not hard to believe when you consider how many attractions we have right under our noses.

The Hotels.com survey also includes a list of locations abroad that UK tourists travel to. These include, New York, Paris, Amsterdam, Dublin and Rome.
